The card features a bride in red lehenga and a groom in beige sherwani, looking from their window at a protest. They are accompanied by a cat in the picture. Outside, people are raising banners of 'hum sab ek hain', 'hum kaagaz nahi dikhaege', and 'love is the greatest revolution'.
The caption with the post read, 'We had the opportunity to work on the wedding invite for the fearless and fabulous @reallyswara and @fahadzirarahmad. Swara and Fahad wanted the invite to capture how they met and fell for each other during a citizen protest, their memories of Mumbai and Marine Drive, their abiding love for the movies, and of course, for their beautiful cat, Ghalib.'
As soon as the post was shared on Instagram, the wedding invite started doing the rounds on social media. It also garnered many likes and comments too. While one fan wrote, 'This is so awesome ..like wow ...fearless, powerful at the same time...love', another one added, 'You guys did an amazing job! Thank you So much.'
As per a report in Hindustan Times, the couple is planning to ditch a grand wedding and will tie the knot again at her nana-nani's house in Delhi. However, despite the intimate ceremony, the couple will go full throttle with haldi, mehendi and sangeet planned between March 11 and March 16.
